A typical day at Edzell Nursery

Each morning, our children take part in a Montessori work cycle. During this time, they have the freedom to choose what they would like to work with. They can work independently, in collaboration with a friend or with the support of a teacher. Our Montessori teachers carefully observe each child and prepare activities that respond to their individual needs and interests. A healthy snack is provided each morning and is available for children to enjoy at a time of their choosing.

In the afternoons, we provide opportunities to engage in group activities such as cooking, art and Spanish lessons. Children can also opt to spend some time outdoors exploring the nursery garden.
