What We Offer

We are a term-time Montessori nursery (You can find our term dates here).

Our hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30am - 3:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm.

Children can start with us from the age of 3.

We are a partner provider nursery with The City of Edinburgh Council, meaning eligible children can receive funded places. We offer full-time funded places.

We usually have an intake of children in August, January and April, subject to the availability of places.
How to Enrol
If you are considering Edzell Montessori Nursery for your child, please get in touch. We are always happy to answer any questions that you might have.
We can also provide an application form and arrange for you to visit the nursery so that you can see us in action!
Once we have received a completed application form, your child will be added to our waiting list.
What Happens Next?
Before your child's intended start date, we will contact you to arrange completion of all necessary paperwork.
You and your child will be invited to attend a settling-in session ahead of their first day. You will also receive a welcome pack with helpful information to support a smooth transition.
At Edzell, we follow a gentle, child-led settling-in process. This allows your child to settle in at their own pace. As they become more relaxed in the environment and begin to form trusting relationships with their teachers, the length of their sessions can gradually increase.
